Let me first outline the situation. There is a man, a garden full of flowers, a lake which doubles the number of flowers which are dipped in it and three temples.

The man picks some flowers from the garden, dips them in the lake and then offers some of those flowers in the 1st temple. Then he again dips the remaining flowers in the lake and again offers some of the flowers to the 2nd temple. He repeats the same procedure again of dipping flowers in the lake and offering all the flowers to the 3rd temple. If the flowers he offers at all the temples is same, then

Find the number of flowers he picked from the garden & also the number of flower he offers at each of the temples.

The man pics 7 flowers initially dipped them in lake and get doubled, that is 14 flowers. Then he offered 8 flowers in temple 1 and left with 6 flowers. He dipped remaining 6 flowers in lake to get 12 flowers and offers 8 flowers in temple 2. Now, he is left with 4 flowers dipped them in lake and gets 8 flowers which he offered in temple 3. So he offers 8 flowers in each temple.
